From Seed to Seed

This course takes you through how to sow seed at the beginning of the season and how to save seed for ongoing use at the end of the season. Ginny will explain the different ways some seed  needs to be treated to get them to germinate, and ways to help keep seed for the following seasons.

Natural ways to look after your pets- ways to combat fleas, make shampoos, etc.

Includes some very healthy homemade  dog and cat bikies and treats- we will make some in class and all recipes included.

Herb Recipes

Herbed Mustard

Mix 2 tbsps of mustard powder, 2 tbsps flour, 1/2 tsp salt and 2tsp sugar together. Blend with vinegar to make a smooth paste, and add 1 tbsp of very finely chopped herbs.

Use horseradish (hot!), marjoram, parsley, sweet marigold or sage.

Let mature for 2-4 weeks before using. Serve with appropriate meats.
